Limitation of Liability for Lost or Damaged Pianos
Keys International shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or theft of piano(s) between transfer to a third-party carrier or after the goods are delivered to the customer’s specified location. By shipping, or receiving a piano using Keys International as a third party coordinator, the customer acknowledges and agrees to assume all risks associated with the transportation, delivery, and handling of the piano, including but not limited to loss, theft, or damage that may occur during transit.
The Company will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the piano is properly packed and shipped to minimize the risk of damage. Beginning when the piano is handed over to a third-party shipping carrier (e.g., moving company, freight service, or courier), the Company takes no responsibility for the piano at any time. In the event of any damage, loss, or theft during the shipping process, the customer is responsible for filing a claim directly with the carrier.
The customer agrees to hold Keys International harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from lost, stolen, or damaged pianos during transit, whether caused by the carrier or other third-party events.
Insurance
Keys International can assist the customer in sourcing shipping insurance for the piano to cover any potential damage or loss during transit. While the Company can help facilitate the purchase of such insurance, the ultimate responsibility for managing insurance coverage rests with the customer.
